The NCKUAANA President Chao Nee Memorial Scholarship Committee has completed its evaluation of 2017 scholarship applicants. Listed below are the selected recipients, whose accomplishments rendered them all exceptionally candidates.
Benjamin Yeh (葉宗浩)– Junior at Stanford University, in Bioengineering. He is the son of （葉先覺, 1978 Engineering Science), member of NCKUAANA – Southern California.
Christopher Wang (王中亮) – Sophomore at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, majoring in Computer Science. He is the grandson of Leon Ru-Liang Wang(王汝樑，1957 Civil Engineering), and Joyce Wang (田介纯，1957 Architectural Engineering) member of NCKUAANA – New England).
Sharon Shen （谌盈恩) – Junior at University of Michigan, with a major in Nursing, and minor in Creative Writing. She is the daughter of Zhi-Hao Shen (谌志豪, 1982 Metalurgical & Material Science Engineering), and Hui-Wen Ding (丁慧文, 1984 Metalurgical & Material Science Engineering）, member of NCKUAANA – Michigan.
The $1,000 scholarship and a framed award certificate will be presented to each recipient at the annual NCKUAANA local meeting to which their parents or grand parents belong。
